Patterns Worth Knowing
Theft Travels in Clusters
When a car gets nicked off a street in Alwoodley or Harrogate, the same street often sees another within 14 days. Thieves come back because they know the layout. We've fitted four bollards on the same Roundhay street in a fortnight more than once.
Motorway Access Drives Risk
Leeds postcodes within 10 minutes of the M62, M1, A1(M) or A64 carry higher theft loadings. A stolen car needs to be off the region before sunrise.
Big House, Long Drive = Bigger Target
Detached homes in Alwoodley, Adel, Harrogate with long drives where the car is visible from the road get hit far more than terraces.
